Tailored for seasoned professionals aiming to advance their careers in management or academia, the Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) program at Case Western Reserve University's Weatherhead School of Management equips you to drive organizational and global change through social, intellectual, and economic influence. As the pioneering interdisciplinary doctoral program (previously called the Doctor of Management), our intensive three-year curriculum empowers you to apply research methodologies and theory to analyze and solve contemporary business challenges. With three on-campus and three virtual residencies each semester, you'll refine your analytical and critical thinking skills while reinventing your professional approach. Over three years, you'll study global economic and political trends, sustainability, design, and leadership. An optional fourth year lets you pursue a PhD in Management: Designing Sustainable Systems to deepen your research's theoretical foundation and impact.
The DBA program emphasizes cohort-based learning, admitting approximately 20 accomplished professionals annually. This structure fosters strong relationships with our distinguished faculty and fellow participants within the program and the broader academic community.
