The undergraduate programs in the Anthropology Department explore human behavior and biology through four specialized tracks, available as both majors and minors. These tracks challenge students to cultivate qualitative and quantitative analytical skills essential for professional careers and advanced academic pursuits. Learners can choose from four focus areas: general anthropology, biological anthropology, archaeology, and medical anthropology. The general anthropology track offers a comprehensive, interdisciplinary understanding of human behavior, cultural diversity, and evolutionary processes, while developing analytical abilities that prepare graduates for diverse fields including healthcare, global relations, government, education, legal practice, business management, and industrial sectors. Additionally, this concentration serves as strong groundwork for postgraduate studies in anthropology and professional programs like medical or law school.
