The Special Major provides dedicated students with the chance to create a customized academic program that isn't offered through existing single-discipline majors. This unique major combines structured coursework across two or more fields. Students work with a specially assembled Faculty Guidance Committee, comprising experts from each relevant academic area, under the leadership of a faculty advisor who chairs the committee. Final approval for the program requires endorsement from both a College Dean and the student's Faculty Guidance Committee.
