The Global Studies Program enables students to explore international relations through multiple academic lenses. Those enrolled in either the major or minor can select courses from authorized offerings across disciplines including Anthropology, Communication, Economics, History, Liberal Studies, Literature and Writing, Philosophy, Political Science, Sociology, Modern Language Studies, Visual and Performing Arts, and Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. Participants may focus their studies on one of five regions: the Americas, Asia, Europe, the Middle East and North Africa, or Sub-Saharan Africa, while also concentrating on two thematic areas: Foreign Policy, Global Conflict and Cooperation, International Law and Human Rights, Global Political Economy and Development, or Gender in Global Perspective.
