The Master of Arts in Communication Studies at CSUSB is a 30-unit graduate program spanning two years, designed to develop skilled, principled communication experts, teachers, and researchers. Qualification Requirements
To be considered for admission to the MA in Communication Studies graduate program, applicants must meet the following, minimum requirements:
A 3.0 overall undergraduate GPA OR 3.0 for the last 60 semester units or 90 quarter units,
Successful completion of undergraduate courses in Communication Theory and Research Methods (or their equivalents)
Completed your undergraduate degree in another discipline like Sociology or Marketing? Please apply, and -- if accepted -- you can complete these prerequisite courses in our undergraduate program.
International students must have received a TOEFL score of 575 or higher (computer-based score of 233 or internet-based score of 89) OR an IELTS score of 6.5 or higher.
