The Bachelor of Arts in Social Work (BASW) serves as the foundational professional degree in Social Work. Our CSWE-accredited BASW program is a dynamic, well-organized curriculum designed to equip students for careers as social workers across diverse agencies and settings, while also providing a strong foundation for advanced studies in social work or related disciplines. The program features an exclusive Public Child Welfare Training (Title IV-E) opportunity for those pursuing careers with children and families.
Students commence the BASW program upon fulfilling lower division prerequisites and gaining admission. BASW classes start annually in the fall semester, following completion of these preliminary requirements and formal acceptance into the program.
