The undergraduate curriculum provides students with a solid foundation in anthropology's four core disciplines: biological anthropology, cultural anthropology, archaeology, and linguistics. Our program features courses across all these areas, allowing students to delve into specific interests while gaining comprehensive knowledge of the field. The course offerings cover anthropology's intellectual scope while providing insights into global cultures, regional prehistory, human evolution, and language's role in cultural and gender dynamics. Seniors complete their studies with a capstone seminar (ANTH500) that synthesizes knowledge from across the anthropology program, following a required junior-year theory course (ANTH301). Beyond traditional classroom learning, students can engage in internships, independent research projects, and graduate with honors recognition.
