The program equips students for professional roles across diverse human service sectors. It focuses on a strengths-based perspective for examining human growth across the lifespan, family dynamics, and cultural diversity within family structures. This curriculum holds accreditation from the National Council on Family Relations (NCFR) for Family Life Education programs. Within the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences, students can choose from three specialized tracks, two minor options, and one certification program. Qualification Requirements
An applicant who has not completed any post-secondary education after high school is considered a first-time freshman applicant. If there is a gap between the time you graduated high school and when you are applying to the University, but have not attempted or completed any college or university coursework, you are still considered a first-time freshman.
