The program equips students for professional roles across diverse human service sectors. It focuses on a strengths-based perspective for examining human growth across the lifespan, family dynamics, and cultural diversity within family structures. This curriculum holds accreditation from the National Council on Family Relations (NCFR) for Family Life Education programs. Within the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences, students can choose from three specialized tracks, two minor options, and one certification program. These offerings aim to develop competencies that support the welfare of people, family units, and societal groups.
