The Biological Sciences Honors Program offers undergraduates an immersive research opportunity. This research component is strongly advised for students aiming to pursue graduate or professional studies. The program concludes with students completing an honors thesis and presenting a seminar.
The Biological Sciences Department provides both bachelor's and advanced degree options. Undergraduate students can pursue either a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, or a Minor in Biological Sciences. The Bachelor of Science program allows specialization through various concentrations including: Biomedical Sciences, Cell and Molecular Biology, Clinical Laboratory Sciences, Ecology, Evolution and Conservation, Microbiology, or a General Biology track.

Qualification Requirements
An applicant who has not completed any post-secondary education after high school is considered a first-time freshman applicant. If there is a gap between the time you graduated high school and when you are applying to the University, but have not attempted or completed any college or university coursework, you are still considered a first-time freshman.
