The Bachelor of Arts in Design Studies program is designed for students seeking to explore design's influence and material culture across social, political, and cultural contexts. The curriculum is built on the fundamental premise that design permeates every aspect of our lives, from everyday objects to urban environments, serving as a powerful medium through which societies communicate their ideals and aspirations.
Upon completion, Design Studies alumni will qualify for research and administrative roles within the design industry, collaborating with both private organizations and government entities. Additionally, graduates will meet the academic requirements to pursue advanced degrees such as Master's or Doctoral programs in design studies or design history.

An applicant who has not completed any post-secondary education after high school is considered a first-time freshman applicant.
