Obtaining a music therapy certification equips you for a professional journey as a music therapist. Designed for individuals holding a bachelor's degree in music, this program introduces therapeutic methods integrated with musical expertise. Graduates will be qualified to assist diverse patients across clinical, educational, and healthcare environments. Upon finishing the curriculum, candidates become eligible to sit for the national Board Certification exam to earn their Board Certified Music Therapist credential. Our curriculum blends academic instruction with hands-on clinical training, guiding students through simulated and actual case studies to refine their abilities before undertaking a culminating music therapy internship. Participants will collaborate with practitioners at our Music Therapy Wellness Clinic and observe experts during client sessions. Ultimately, the program prepares graduates to achieve Board Certified Music Therapist status.
