The Kinesiology department at CSUN leads the way in researching human movement. Our Bachelor's and Master's Science degree programs provide a complete education, featuring the most advanced facilities in the CSU system.

We foster a student-focused environment where learners and educators collaborate to explore movement for personal growth and lifelong health. This partnership enhances quality of life while celebrating human diversity. Through interdisciplinary teaching methods, we create hands-on learning experiences that help students meet program objectives.

Our diverse core curriculum equips students to specialize in one of five academic tracks: Applied Fitness, Dance, Exercise Science, Physical Education, or Sport Studies. For graduate studies, we offer Master's programs in Kinesiology with specializations including Adapted Physical Activity, Biomechanics, Dance, Exercise Physiology, Motor Behavior, Physical Education Pedagogy, and Sport Studies. Additionally, we provide a Master of Science in Athletic Training (MSAT) program.
