The Cell and Molecular specialization equips students for advanced studies or roles as research professionals across diverse sectors, including medical, pharmaceutical, agricultural, and biotech industries, within academic, government, or corporate laboratory environments. Aligned with the College of Science and Mathematics' vision, the Biology Department fosters scientific literacy, readies students for postgraduate education, cultivates future leaders in science and education, enhances K12 educators' science teaching skills, and develops candidates for health-related fields like medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, and pharmaceuticals.
