The Gender and Women's Studies program focuses on interdisciplinary, multicultural, and global perspectives, highlighting how gender intersects with race, class, and sexuality. The curriculum covers feminist theory, women's activism, global feminist movements, feminisms of color, postcolonial perspectives, women's economic roles in global development, media and literary representations of women, gender and religion, LGBTQ+ studies, women's health issues, and masculinity research.
