The Communicative Disorders program focuses on speech and hearing sciences, covering both audiology and speech-language pathology. At the undergraduate level, students can specialize in either Audiology or Speech-Language Pathology. The department also provides graduate studies, offering a Master of Science in Communicative Disorders and a Doctor of Audiology degree. Students pursuing a Bachelor of Arts can choose concentrations in speech-language pathology or audiology. The program combines theoretical coursework with hands-on training, with opportunities to gain practical experience through CSUN's Language, Speech and Hearing Center clinics.

You will be considered for admission to CSUN as an international freshman if you meet the following requirements:
You have earned a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 grading scale or an average of B grades on an A - F letter grading scale. (CSUN will convert your international GPA when you apply for admission.)
