The Art and Design Department provides an academic program tailored for students seeking a well-rounded arts education within a liberal arts framework. Aspiring artists can access diverse avenues to showcase their creativity and secure career opportunities post-graduation. Learners can investigate multiple artistic disciplines before selecting the specialization that aligns with their passions and abilities.

The Bachelor of Arts program structure caters to students pursuing: (1) a liberal arts education with an art focus, (2) in-depth art specialization, (3) foundation for advanced art studies, (4) preparation for academic and professional careers, and/or (5) credentials for art instruction.

All Art majors must complete both foundational and advanced core coursework. Students then choose elective credits from various departmental concentrations to fulfill their B.A. requirements in their selected field. The program also offers extracurricular experiences to enhance professional competencies and improve career prospects beyond specialized disciplines.
