The Pre-Medicine/MDpas Certificate program examines the educational and professional pathways for becoming a Medical Doctor, covering allopathic, osteopathic, and naturopathic medicine. This program helps students fulfill prerequisite coursework for leading medical school applications while equipping them for culturally-aware healthcare practice. Rooted in Pan Africanism/Pan African Studies principles, the certificate fosters critical analysis of race and power structures while introducing students to traditional African healing practices used both pre-colonization and in contemporary global African communities.
