The 15-unit interdisciplinary Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Certificate program fosters critical analysis of gender, sex, and sexuality as social constructs that intersect with race, ethnicity, class, and nationality. Rooted in Women's Studies scholarship, this certificate program explores how bodies are socially constructed, experienced, and represented across diverse cultural, historical, and political landscapes. Hold a Bachelor's degree, and wish to continue your graduate/post-baccalaureate studies in a graduate, certificate, credential or 2nd bachelor's program at Cal State LA.
Good academic standing at the last college or university attended,
Grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.5 in an acceptable earned Bachelor's degree (or a GPA of at least 2.5 (out of 4.0) in the last 60 semester (or 90 quarter) units attempted) Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)- 80 ibT or higher, 550 pbt
