The Master of Arts in Educational Foundations is an interdisciplinary program that integrates perspectives and methods from humanities, social sciences, and behavioral studies. This program equips educators and professionals (including school psychologists, counselors, and administrators in various sectors) to analyze and address the societal factors influencing education both within and beyond traditional school settings. The curriculum covers diverse areas such as educational history, urban education theories, sociology of education, education policy, queer studies in education, educational anthropology, and human development theories. Through this comprehensive coursework, students develop analytical, ethical, and critical viewpoints on education via intensive academic exploration and research opportunities.
