Qualification Requirements

a baccalaureate in Chicana/o and Latina/o Studies or a related field, with at least 12 upper-division units in Chicana/o and/or Latina/o Studies or related field, and
a grade point average of 2.75 or above in the last 60 semester units of coursework at an accredited institution.
Students who lack the 12 upper-division unit requirements for admission can be considered for conditional admission, and if accepted would be required to take CLS 3400 and one CLS 4000-level course that does not count towards their masters, both courses must be completed with a B (3.0) average or better during the first year of the program.
