The Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) is a practice-focused doctoral degree specializing in clinical nursing, educational leadership, and healthcare administration. This program aims to enhance professional capabilities for demanding clinical, academic, and managerial positions while offering an alternative to research-intensive doctoral studies. Alongside mastering evidence-based care, organizational leadership, and healthcare policy, students will acquire specialized expertise in their chosen nursing specialization. DNP classes are conducted either on partner university campuses or delivered through live virtual sessions. The program follows a structured 5-semester plan with 6-9 credit hours per term, with course timings designed to accommodate working professionals through evening and late afternoon scheduling.

Students with a degree other than nursing will be required to make up deficiencies in preparation, such as nursing theory, research, and transcultural nursing.
