The Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) is a practice-focused doctoral degree specializing in clinical nursing, educational leadership, and healthcare administration. This program aims to enhance professional capabilities for demanding clinical, academic, and managerial positions while offering an alternative to research-intensive doctoral studies. Alongside mastering evidence-based care, organizational leadership, and healthcare policy, students will acquire specialized expertise in their chosen nursing specialization. DNP classes are conducted either on partner university campuses or delivered through live virtual sessions. Qualification Requirements

A grade point average of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale in overall graduate course work.
Pre-requisite courses for admission include master's level coursework in Advanced Physical/Health Assessment, Advanced Pathophysiology and Advanced Pharmacology and a course in inferential statistics within the past five years. Students with a degree other than nursing will be required to make up deficiencies in preparation, such as nursing theory, research, and transcultural nursing.
