The Doctor of Audiology (AuD) program equips students to fulfill both the academic and clinical prerequisites for obtaining an Audiology license in California, along with the ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology. This program is currently seeking accreditation from two bodies: the Council on Academic Accreditation (CAA) under the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and the Accreditation Commission for Audiology Education (ACAE) affiliated with the American Academy of Audiology. Structured as a four-year program (including summer sessions and starting each fall semester), the AuD degree requires completion of at least 111 credit units.

Qualification Requirements

A baccalaureate degree is a prerequisite to enter the AuD program. It is expected that students will have obtained a broad general education to serve as a background prior to their graduate study. Undergraduate coursework in mathematics and in basic and applied sciences is strongly encouraged.
A written statement of professional purpose that reflects an understanding of the future challenges facing educational organizations and the community they serve. Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) - 80 ibt or higher , International English Language Testing System (IELTS) - Band 6.0 or higher , Toefl Paper - 550
