The Bachelor of Science in Natural Science offers comprehensive education spanning multiple scientific fields, with three specialization paths: Interdisciplinary Science (Option I), Teaching (Option II), and Applied Science (Option III). Students must select one specialization. Those pursuing Interdisciplinary Science or Teaching must focus on a specific discipline (biology, chemistry, geoscience, or physics), while Applied Science students specialize in either health science or the bridge to clinical laboratory science track. The clinical laboratory science pathway qualifies graduates to apply for advanced clinical laboratory training programs and is exclusively available to those who've completed medical laboratory technician coursework or hold a California MLT license. Prospective students are advised to consult with a Natural Science academic advisor before selecting their specialization.
