The Bachelor of Science in Aviation Administration program consists of 120 total units, with 72 units dedicated to the major. Students may transfer the 21 lower-division core units from regionally accredited institutions if they have completed aviation or business-related programs, including airframe and power plant maintenance, air traffic control, air transportation, commercial pilot training, travel management, and similar fields. Transfer students entering Cal. State L.A. without completed lower-division general education or core courses must satisfy these lower-division requirements and complete prerequisite coursework before advancing to upper-division classes to fulfill degree requirements.
