The Computational Physics specialization offers a master's program focused on applying computational methods to address physics challenges. Designed for students pursuing theoretical or applied physics, it enhances their computational problem-solving abilities. This track prepares graduates for PhD programs across physics disciplines or careers in science and engineering fields.
The Department additionally provides graduate programs culminating in either a Master of Science degree or a Professional Physics Master of Science. The Master of Science program includes general, applied physics, and computational physics tracks. A select number of teaching and research assistantships are offered to master's candidates.
