The Applied Physics Option offers a master's program focused on practical concepts and methods tailored for applied physics. This program is designed for students with prior education in physics, engineering, or similar fields.
Additionally, the Department provides graduate programs leading to both a Master of Science degree and a Master of Science in Professional Physics. The Master of Science degree includes general, applied physics, and computational physics specializations. A select number of teaching and graduate assistantships are offered to master's degree candidates. Interested students should submit applications to the Department Chair.
