Those planning to transfer from community colleges to this institution should fulfill general education prerequisites during their community college studies. Equivalent courses to CRJU 101 plus two out of three foundational courses (SOC 100, PSY 100, and POSC 100) are recommended for completion at the community college level. Additional criminal justice coursework from community colleges will count as lower-division electives if designated as transferable to CSU. However, these cannot replace upper-division criminology and criminal justice requirements.
