The Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance program equips students for professional careers as performers or choreographers. Applicants seeking admission to the BFA in Dance must complete an additional audition and interview, showcasing both technical proficiency and/or choreographic talent, along with self-awareness and dedication to a dance career. Prospective students must have sophomore status, fulfill GE Foundation requirements, and complete specific coursework with a minimum 3.0 GPA, including DANC 100 or 300, DANC 120, DANC 161, DANC 182, one unit from DANC 181 or 381, and 10 units across at least three dance styles. Those currently enrolled in required courses may audition with instructor-approved Grade-In-Progress forms. Applications are not accepted after completing 90 Timely Graduation Units.
