The Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting is an intensive, specialized program designed to equip graduates for professional acting careers across all platforms, including theater, film, television, and digital media. This program cultivates both technically proficient performers and innovative, collaborative theater-makers, shaping artists capable of delivering authentic, physically expressive, and vocally versatile performances in today's highly competitive global industry.
The program's first phase centers on 'Self,' establishing core acting principles while enhancing physicality, vocal skills, creative imagination, and personal artistry. Students simultaneously address performance limitations and counterproductive tendencies.
The curriculum then progresses to intensive 'Role' study, exposing students to diverse theatrical styles and texts they'll encounter professionally. Building upon first-year foundations, this phase introduces more sophisticated acting approaches and methodologies.
In its final stage, the B.F.A. program readies students for professional challenges through advanced training in classical texts (including Shakespeare), original solo work, screen acting techniques, digital media performance, and deeper refinement of fundamental skills introduced earlier.
