Africana Studies examines the experiences of African Americans, Africans on the continent, Afro-Caribbeans, and Afro-Latinos, while also encompassing research on African communities in Asia and Europe. This field promotes interdisciplinary and multicultural educational methods. Students in Africana Studies are urged to participate in service learning, internships, and international study programs.
