Qualification Requirements

You are eligible to apply as a graduate student if you have earned a degree equivalent to a U.S. bachelor's degree.
You must have completed a four-year college course of study and hold an acceptable baccalaureate degree from an institution accredited by a regional accrediting association or an equivalent academic preparation before enrollment in the program.
Be in good academic standing at the last college or university attended.
Official Transcripts are required from the university where the bachelor's degree is earned. Submit a word-for-word certified English translation along with the Official original-language transcripts.
Each applicant must have a minimum undergraduate GPA of 2.75 and minimum GRE score of 153 on the verbal portion. The following courses or their equivalents must be completed before undertaking graduate courses:
Communications writing (COMM 201, COMM 301, COMM 351 or COMM 362)
Introductory course in communications or area of specialty (COMM 233, COMM 332, COMM 350 or COMM 361)
