The Electrical Engineering Bachelor of Science program holds accreditation from ABET's Engineering Accreditation Commission at abet.org. This curriculum equips students with fundamental and advanced expertise in VLSI and electronic circuit design and analysis, along with computer engineering principles covering computer architecture, microprocessors, communication systems, signal processing, and control systems. It cultivates students' capacity to effectively and professionally apply design and analytical skills to electrical engineering practice. These competencies are applicable across diverse engineering sectors including aerospace, computing, electronics, and other technology-driven industries. The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering is dedicated to delivering engaging academic programs that integrate state-of-the-art facilities, motivated faculty, and an innovative curriculum to equip students for the major engineering challenges of the 21st century.
First-year students must meet the following eligibility requirements:
Be a high school graduate or equivalent.
Complete the 15-unit comprehensive “A-G” pattern with a grade of C- or better by high school graduation.
"A-G" requirement may not be completed during the summer term prior to fall enrolment.
Earn a competitive Multi Factor Admission Score (MFAS)
