The Bachelor of Music program equips students for professional paths in music performance, teaching, or advanced academic pursuits. This curriculum emphasizes specialized training in performance (vocal or instrumental), composition, or teaching methods, while providing a solid foundation in music history and theory. Seven specialized tracks are available: accompanying, composition, instrumental, jazz-commercial, keyboard, piano pedagogy, and voice. Alternatively, the Bachelor of Arts in Music presents three focus areas: history and theory, liberal arts, and music education (with choral, general, and instrumental specializations). This B.A. program aims to develop graduates who: possess comprehensive understanding of music history, literature, and theory; demonstrate proficiency in performance, improvisation, composition, and analysis; exhibit professional communication skills in writing and speaking; collaborate effectively in various musical settings; and integrate global perspectives and contemporary developments into their musical practice.
