The Bachelor of Fine Arts is a specialized professional program offering focused study across eight visual arts disciplines. This curriculum caters to students pursuing intensive training for specific career paths in areas including ceramics, experimental photography and media, traditional and digital painting, animation and entertainment arts, graphic and interactive design, illustration, metalwork and jewelry, or sculpture. The program cultivates both conceptual understanding and advanced technical abilities essential for professional artistic practice or graduate-level study. Both the BA and BFA programs create holistic educational settings that foster growth for future art historians, practicing artists, and educators. These programs specifically enable students to: acquire foundational visual literacy and core artistic concepts, critically analyze historical and contemporary artworks in cultural contexts, master techniques for clear visual communication of ideas, prepare for advanced study in visual arts, and gain professional competencies for artistic careers.
