This curriculum caters to students pursuing intensive preparation for specific career paths in areas including ceramics, experimental photography and media, traditional and digital painting, animation and entertainment arts, graphic and interactive design, illustration, metalwork and jewelry, and three-dimensional sculpture. The program cultivates both conceptual understanding and advanced technical abilities suitable for professional artistic practice or graduate-level studies. Both the BA and BFA programs create immersive educational settings that foster growth for future art historians, practicing artists, and educators. These programs specifically enable students to: acquire foundational visual literacy and core artistic concepts spanning multiple disciplines, critically evaluate historical and contemporary artworks in cultural contexts, hone creative expression through technical mastery, build competencies for advanced art education, and develop professional-level skills for art careers.
