The Bachelor of Arts in Music equips students for professional paths in music performance, teaching, or advanced academic pursuits. This program focuses primarily on musical performance (vocal or instrumental) while providing comprehensive training in music theory and history. Students can choose from three specialized tracks: music history and theory, liberal arts, or music education (with options in choral, general, or instrumental emphasis). Graduates of this program will: possess expertise in music history, literature, and theory; exhibit proficiency in musical performance, composition, and analysis; communicate effectively through writing and speech; collaborate successfully in various performance settings; and integrate global viewpoints and contemporary developments into their musical practice.
