The Master of Science in ECE program aims to: (1) enhance students' advanced analytical abilities through comprehensive understanding of core engineering theories and applications, (2) strengthen technical communication skills in both written and verbal formats, (3) equip students with practical problem-solving capabilities in electrical and computer engineering, (4) foster innovative and analytical thinking for tackling complex engineering challenges, and (5) provide specialized knowledge enabling graduates to pursue advanced careers in academia or industry.
The Electrical and Computer Engineering department's purpose is to serve regional and statewide needs by delivering quality undergraduate education to a diverse student body. The department continuously modernizes its curriculum to prepare graduates for local and global industry opportunities while maintaining rigorous academic standards to ensure professional success.
Students with (a) an undergraduate degree in electrical or computer engineering discipline from a recognized program, (b) a good academic record and undergraduate grade point average of 3.0.
English language Score: TOEFL – 80 iBT, or IELTS – 6.5, or Pearson’s Test of English - 53, or iTEP – 4.5. Application Deadlines: Fall - Jun 1 and Spring - November 1.
