The Master of Science (M.S.) in Construction Management program at Fresno State's Lyles College of Engineering equips students with the technical expertise, financial acumen, and business skills needed for leadership roles in the modern construction sector.
This graduate program caters to both fresh graduates and experienced professionals from architecture, engineering, construction (AEC), business, or related disciplines.
Its objectives include preparing students to either (a) assume executive roles in the AEC industry or (b) continue to doctoral studies in construction-related areas, leading to academic or research careers in higher education.
Students must complete 30 semester units of coursework and a final project, choosing from three available study tracks.
Applicants must have completed a bachelor's degree in construction management from an accredited program; or a bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited program with a minor or a certificate in construction management. Applicants must have a minimum overall GPA of 2.8 in their undergraduate education AND a minimum GPA of 3.0 in the construction management.
English language Score: TOEFL – 80 iBT, or IELTS – 6.5, or Pearson’s Test of English - 53, or iTEP – 4.5. Application Deadlines: Fall - Jun 1 and Spring - November 1.
