The Recreation Administration (RA) program, part of Health and Human Services, promotes individual wellness and enriches community living. Students engage in practical learning experiences that foster healthy, active, and fulfilling lifestyles for all. RA majors participate both academically and within their communities, focusing on recreational theory and the delivery of public leisure services across various settings. These include outdoor spaces, parks, therapeutic programs for individuals with disabilities, event planning, sports venues, tourism, and organizations serving different age groups. This discipline explores social dynamics and environmental studies, supporting personal growth through leisure while preserving nature.
