The Agricultural Systems Management major equips students to analyze, connect, organize, interpret, evaluate, and oversee operations and management of technological systems in agricultural production and processing. This includes power and machinery, automated processes, water management, industrial IoT, and robotics. Students in this program will cultivate technical problem-solving abilities and management competencies for handling processes, personnel, and resources in agricultural enterprises.
California State University, Fresno's Industrial Technology program focuses on developing future industry leaders and managers. Students gain expertise in utilizing and overseeing cutting-edge technologies across agricultural information systems, manufacturing, processing, packaging, quality control, and transportation. Through a combination of classroom teaching, digital learning, practical labs, and dedicated faculty support, the program fosters analytical thinking and creative problem-solving. The undergraduate program offers specialized tracks in automotive technologies, food processing and packaging, manufacturing quality, and spatial technology, all built upon a solid base of technology and management coursework.
Have graduated from high school (earning a high school diploma), have earned a Certificate of General Education Development (GED) or have passed the California High School Proficiency Examination (CHSPE)
English language Score: TOEFL – 61 iBT, or IELTS – 6.0 or with 5.5 Band score in each section, or ELS Language Centers - Level 112, or Pearson's Test of English – 45. Application Deadlines: Fall - July 1 and Spring - November 1.
