The Music Department's faculty brings expertise from diverse specialized fields. Numerous professors are acclaimed performers and educators with national and global recognition, while others have gained prominence through their academic studies, publications, and research works. All faculty members are committed to delivering exceptional musical training through both classroom instruction and private lessons.
Our curriculum offers bachelor's and master's level music education for aspiring professional performers, composers, and private instructors, as well as those pursuing advanced studies in performance and composition. The program fulfills California's subject matter requirements for music teaching credentials and provides graduate-level training for those aiming for academic or professional careers, including K-12 educators and community college faculty.
