The Interior Design program is a CIDA-accredited professional program. Located within the Department of Art and Design, it offers students a distinctive blend of artistic education with diverse design and art coursework. The Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design provides exceptional career preparation, combining cutting-edge digital tools with conventional techniques to create innovative solutions for interior spaces. Students develop expertise in fundamental areas including color principles, spatial organization, visual communication, technical drawings, building regulations, and material selection. The curriculum focuses on inclusive design, social responsibility, and serving specialized communities, with practical experience gained through required internships.
Have graduated from high school (earning a high school diploma), have earned a Certificate of General Education Development (GED) or have passed the California High School Proficiency Examination (CHSPE)
English language Score: TOEFL – 61 iBT, or IELTS – 6.0 or with 5.5 Band score in each section, or ELS Language Centers - Level 112, or Pearson's Test of English – 45. Application Deadlines: Fall - July 1 and Spring - November 1.
