Qualification Requirements

Students must demonstrate knowledge and application of various programming languages, or they must have experience with Web-based instruction. Basic knowledge of digital technologies and HTML is required.
Advanced proficiency in one platform (e.g., Macintosh, Windows, UNIX) is also required. Students must maintain competency in technology as long as they are graduate students in the program.
Candidates must hold a baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution.
Candidates must have earned a 3.0 Grade Point Average (GPA) in all upper division or post baccalaureate coursework.
If a candidate has a baccalaureate degree from out of the country, he/she must have his/her transcripts evaluated by the International Graduate Student Admissions Office.

The CR/NC grade option in any course applied to a certificate program must be approved in advance by the Graduate Coordinator.

English language demonstration is required for all applicants processed in International Admissions. We accept the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) iBT version or the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Academic version of the exams.
