Graduates will be equipped to contribute significantly across communication theory, research, Strategic Communication, Media Production, and Communication and Media Studies. Through their studies, students will examine diverse perspectives to become principled, inclusive leaders capable of engaging effectively in both global and local contexts. They'll develop expertise in critical thinking, public speaking, writing, and multimedia presentation skills applicable across all platforms. The curriculum explores both contemporary media landscapes and the historical interplay between communication, identity, and society, preparing students for diverse career paths or advanced academic pursuits. All undergraduate students complete 32 units across 8 core communication courses and select one specialization: Multimedia Journalism (focusing on digital storytelling for social justice across print, audio, and visual media), Strategic Communication (integrating Advertising, Public Relations and Organizational Communication), or Communication and Media Studies (offering adaptable skills for modern careers with strong foundations for graduate studies).
