A combined bachelor's and master's degree program integrates an established Chico State undergraduate degree with a graduate degree, enabling students to apply up to 12 units of graduate coursework toward both programs. This results in a minimum requirement of 138 units to earn both degrees. Graduates of this program will receive both their undergraduate and graduate diplomas. After completing 120 semester units and fulfilling all bachelor's degree requirements, blended program participants will be granted their undergraduate degree. The master's degree is conferred upon finishing its specific requirements.
Prospective blended program applicants must currently be pursuing a bachelor's degree at Chico State and maintain the minimum GPA required for the master's program throughout their undergraduate studies. Alternatively, they must demonstrate potential to achieve this standard, as evaluated by the program. Once accepted into the blended program, students won't need to reapply for admission to the master's portion.
