Local students near Chico participate in the campus-based Sociology program, primarily attending face-to-face lectures while having the flexibility to enroll in one or two online courses each term. Those living beyond Chico can join the remote Sociology Online program as third-year students, enabling them to study from virtually any global location. While all digital courses offer self-paced learning, certain classes also feature live Zoom sessions for real-time engagement with professors and peers.
Earning a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology provides a broad liberal arts foundation for students pursuing careers in social research, human services, corporate environments, government work, or teaching.
