The Bachelor of Arts in Art offers three specialized tracks, each accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD).

The art education track. This pathway serves as preparation for obtaining a California Single Subject Credential in Art. Students who complete this structured curriculum earn both an art degree and the required subject matter competency for admission into California's credential programs.

The art history track. This program cultivates critical thinking about worldwide visual arts and cultural expressions. It prepares students for professional opportunities in museums, galleries, and academia, while also providing essential research and writing skills valued across various industries. The distinguished faculty specialize in Medieval, modern/contemporary, and Mesoamerican art history.

The studio art track. This concentration focuses on developing both theoretical knowledge and practical skills for visual creativity. Through eight specialized studio areas—ceramics, drawing, digital media, glass design, painting, photography, printmaking, and sculpture—students gain comprehensive artistic training within the BA program.
