Our Counseling Psychology program equips graduates with the skills needed to thrive as professional therapists. The curriculum centers on a relational and systemic approach to counseling. Alumni consistently excel at securing internships, passing MFT licensing exams, and building prosperous practices in both private and institutional environments. The Marital and Family Therapy program fosters a systemic perspective of human experiences across diverse contexts. We promote appreciation for varied lifestyles, beliefs, values, and goals. The program trains students in multiple theoretical frameworks to comprehend life's complex challenges. Through systemic thinking, students learn to recognize the interconnected nature of motivation, emotions, and behavior. A distinctive feature is the chance to combine academic knowledge with hands-on clinical experience at our two Community Counseling Centers. This powerful blend of scholarly knowledge and real-world practice helps students develop their professional identity throughout their studies.
