The Global Studies curriculum provides classes analyzing the key players (individuals, nations, NGOs), concepts, and systems influencing worldwide cultural, social, political, and economic dynamics. The coursework is organized around three central themes, demonstrating how various global communities interpret similar challenges. Outstanding capstone projects may qualify for the Pearson Scholar summer research initiative. Successful applicants dedicate a summer term to developing their projects full-time. Pearson Scholars subsequently have opportunities to showcase their research at academic conferences for professionals and undergraduates.
