The Control and Dynamical Systems (CDS) specialization welcomes applicants holding a bachelor's degree in engineering, mathematics, or scientific disciplines. Each candidate's credentials will undergo individual evaluation, and upon admission, students will collaborate with faculty advisors to design their academic plan. Some individuals may need to complete foundational undergraduate engineering coursework to address any gaps in preparation.
As an integral component of the Computing and Mathematical Sciences department, the CDS specialization highlights the cross-disciplinary aspects of contemporary dynamical systems and control theory. The program structure fosters comprehensive understanding of both mathematical and practical approaches in these fields. Alongside core CDS coursework, participants must choose a specific concentration area for focused study.
